Vinyl printing is all about heat transfer. With Cut Vinyl, we use a machine to cut out letters and designs from colored vinyl and heat-press them onto the t-shirt to transfer the color to it. We can also use Digital Print Vinyl where we use our large format printer to print full color images on a special type of vinyl that is then heat applied to the garment. This can be useful when you have a multicolor logo and only looking for a small number of items.
Vinyl lettering is normally what’s used to apply names and numbers to uniforms and jerseys. This makes the most sense because the price would be too high if you had to make a separate screen for each shirt in order to use the screen printing method. Fortunately there are many types of vinyl available in many different colors, textures and effects such as glitter and foil.
